I personally had a recent entry into the anime world and never heard  My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU anime's name before, so I too wondered what it is about and why it was ranking in the top 3 every week in anime charts for Top Fall anime 2020 and wanted to know about it more. I too was confused at first when I started, one name was mentioned at one website and another at another, and initially, I thought they both were two different animes. So to clear things up let me start from the start. The anime name in Japanese is "Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabukone wa Machigatteiru " abbreviated as "OreGairu" and "Hamachi" translated in English as My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected also known as My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU(F.Y.I SNAFU=Status Normal: All Fucked Up ). So I hope I cleared your confusion if you had any and you get it now that "My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU", "My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected "and "OreGairu" are all the names of the same anime.

The series follows Hachiman Hikigaya, a pessimistic, close-minded, and realistic teen, who is forced by his teacher to join the school's service club and work with two girls with issues of their own. They offer help and advice to others while dealing with their inner conflicts.

 The anime is an animated adaption of the lite novel with the same name. The light novel series is written by Wataru Watari and illustrated by Ponkan8. It was published by Shogakukan under the Gagaga Bunko imprint. The first volume was published on March 18, 2011, and the series was concluded with its 14th volume released on November 19, 2019. Season 1 of the anime series was released on April 4, 2013, and aired till June 21, 2013, on TBS Network

Is It worth watching?

Well, it depends on the person. If you are into rom-com anime and if you are interested in anime where the main character is different from other characters and has a different viewpoint from others it's for you. If I have to give my personal opinion then I will say to watch it. According to me, it is one of the best rom-com anime ever made. It is very well written and all the characters are very different from each other which enriches the experience. The main character has a different mindset compared to an average high schoolboy. Sometimes the things he says in the anime might be too weird but when we think about it weirdly it starts to make sense. My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU anime is a social commentary and a really good one. As I stated above the points made by the main character are bitterly true and that's what makes this series very interesting. The romance is in the atmosphere of the anime and comedy is unlimited so it makes a near to perfect rom-com anime. No episode is boring and no episode feels like filler because of the different characters we get to see and their stories too. By the end of the series, all the characters start to feel like our own friends which shows how well directed the anime is. And don't worry about the ending because the anime has official ended this year with the 3rd season and I have to say it's the best ending the series could have gotten. I was worried while watching because endings to harem anime like this tend to hurt some group of viewers but the writer did a very good job. Personally, I very much liked it and would suggest you watch it.

               As I stated above, Oregairu being near to a perfect rom-com anime it too has very good opening songs for each of its three seasons and I have to say that the openings are very well selected and are suited to the mood of the season and to the overall anime.
